We are looking for an exceptional Senior Care Assistant to join our team!

What we need form you:
- To be able to lead and plan a shift, being positive, proactive and responsive at all times
- To administer and record all medication to our residents
- To liaise with all health professionals
- Support with care planning and reviews
- Ensure accurate record keeping, including daily notes, monitoring of residents health conditions, using charts etc.
- Reporting any concerns to the relevant people
- Support and encourage the staff on shift
- Carry out thorough handovers for staff at the end of each shift
- Record and reporting of all incidents, accidents, medication incidents
- Liaising with family, friends and visitors
- Ensuring health and safety is compliant at all times
- Be part of the on call Rota, on a rotational basis
What you will be doing:
- Caring, dedicated, hard working and reliable
- Committed to personal development.
- Medication administration experience
- Being interested in regulatory compliance (CQC)
- Some previous supervisory experience is desired but not essential
- An understanding and knowledge of Dementia is desired but not essential
- Excellent record keeping skills
- Good communication skills
Senior Care Assistants work shifts between the hours of 7am to 9pm and these can be split into a Early/Late (7am to 2.30pm/2.15pm to 9pm) or a combination of long days and split shifts.
