About the Practice
House of Dental Station Road is a modern, fast-paced 13-surgery mixed NHS and private dental practice. We have a highly skilled and experienced clinical team and provide a wide range of general and specialist dental treatments in a busy, professional environment.
We are looking for a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about dentistry and wants to develop a long term career within a modern dental practice.
The Role
As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will work closely with our dentists, nurses and wider practice team to provide a high standard of patient care.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting dentists and other clinicians during a wide range of treatments.
* Preparing surgeries and ensuring all equipment and materials are ready.
* Supporting the smooth running of a busy clinical environment.
* Providing a friendly, reassuring and professional experience for patients.
* Cleaning, sterilising and maintaining dental instruments in line with practice procedures.
* Following infection prevention and control procedures at all times.
* Maintaining high standards of surgery cleanliness and organisation.
* Preparing and maintaining clinical records as required.
* Supporting clinicians during NHS and private appointments.
* Developing knowledge and skills through on-the-job training and formal dental nursing education.
* Working effectively as part of a large, experienced and highly skilled team.

Previous dental experience is not essential as full training and support will be provided. A genuine interest in dentistry and a positive attitude are essential.
