Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, mowing, and turf care to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery including excavators and irrigation systems to support construction and landscaping activities
- Perform general maintenance duties on equipment, tools, and site infrastructure to ensure optimal functionality
- Support excavation work by digging trenches, preparing sites, and assisting with foundation or structural tasks
- Collaborate with team members on various construction projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by clearing debris and properly storing tools and materials
- Follow detailed instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately
Experience
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or horticulture is highly desirable
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including gardening and plant care
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating machinery such as excavators or irrigation systems is a plus
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment
- Demonstrated ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction sites and outdoor work environments
- Strong teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques and responsibilities
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
