About Dance&Arts
Dance&Arts delivers engaging creative and enrichment programmes to children in primary schools across London and the UK. We are passionate about providing children with opportunities to explore creativity, develop new skills and build confidence through fun and inspiring extracurricular activities.
We are currently looking for a creative and confident Digital Animation Teacher to lead a weekly afterschool club for primary-aged children in Hackney.
About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a creative background in digital media, animation, filmmaking, creative technology, art or digital storytelling who enjoys working with children.
You do not need to be a professional animator. We welcome applicants with a range of creative backgrounds who can confidently introduce children to digital animation in a fun, accessible and engaging way.
Using iPads provided by the school, children will explore digital animation by creating their own characters, stories and simple animated projects. Sessions may include stop-motion, digital storytelling and other creative animation techniques.
We encourage teachers to bring their own creativity and ideas to the club.
