Duties
- Deliver high-quality home care services tailored to each client’s individual care plans, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Assist with medication reminders and basic health monitoring as directed by healthcare plans.
- Drive to clients’ homes or care facilities safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols.
- Document all care activities accurately in electronic IT systems, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
- Support clients in maintaining their independence by encouraging participation in daily routines and social activities.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to create a safe environment for both clients and yourself.
Qualifications
- Valid driving license with reliable access to a vehicle for home visits.
- Previous experience working in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
- Strong communication skills to interact empathetically with clients, families, and team members.
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to adapt support accordingly.
