We create high-end LED signage and luxury branded yacht accessories, using materials such as stainless steel, acrylic, carbon fibre, and wood. Our products are built to the highest standards, combining precision engineering with expert craftsmanship.
We are looking for a practical, hands-on Sign Maker / Production Operative to join our friendly and skilled team which has seen year on year growth for the past 15 years. This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing, fabrication, or sign-making experience who enjoys working with tools, problem-solving, and creating high-quality products.
What You’ll Do
Fabricate and assemble LED yacht signage using hand tools and machinery
Work with acrylic, metals, wood, carbon fibre, and painted components
Install LED lighting into signage, including soldering and wiring
Apply vinyl lettering and logos to signage and yacht accessories
Ensure quality control and a high standard of finish
Keep a clean and organised workspace, following health and safety guidelines
Occasionally overseas travel for on-site installations
Assist with general workshop production tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from candidates with experience in sign making, manufacturing, fabrication, or POS production. However, if you are practical, hands on, creative with a good knowledge and use of tools and manufacturing skills, you’ll have a super high chance of consideration.
Must have experience in at least 3 of the following areas (training provided in others):
- Using hand tools (pillar drills, palm sanders, saws, etc.)
- Basic engineering skills (drilling, tapping, countersinking, threading)
- Fabricating acrylic (cutting, flame polishing, sanding)
- Installing LEDs into signage (soldering, wiring, handling power supplies)
- Applying adhesives, glues, or silicones with precision
- Applying vinyl lettering and logos
- Quality control and finishing work
What You’ll Need
1+ years of manufacturing experience (required)
A hands-on, practical approach with problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team using own initiative.
A keen eye for detail and pride in producing high-quality work
✅ A full UK driving licence
Working Hours & Schedule
40-hour week | Monday – Friday
Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 16:30
Friday: 07:00 – 11:00 (Short day!)
