Class 1 (C+E) Driver New Passes Welcome
Position Overview
We are currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a well-established client based in the Mansfield area. This role involves store delivery work using a modern, well-maintained fleet. This is an ad-hoc position, offering daily shift bookings to suit your availability. The role is ideal for drivers looking for flexible work, whether you're newly qualified or an experienced Class 1 driver.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out double-manned store deliveries (includes manual handling of cages and totes)
- Occasional solo runs, which may include night-outs
- Working PM start times ranging between 17:00 and 05:00
- Completing shifts averaging 15+ hours
- Using the MICROLISE system
- Driving new, safety-focused vehicles
What You’ll Need
- A full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
- A valid UK Digital Tachograph Card and CPC (DQC)
- Newly qualified drivers encouraged to apply – full training given
- Up to 6 licence points accepted (no DR, DD, IN or TT endorsements)
- A positive approach, whether you’re newly qualified or highly experienced
The highest demand for shifts is on Fridays and Saturdays, so drivers with weekend availability are especially encouraged to apply.
Assessment
All applicants will be required to complete an initial driving assessment prior to starting.
Pay & Overtime Rates
· Days £16.00/hr
· Nights £18.40/hr
· Saturday Days £20.00/hr
· Saturday Nights £23.00/hr
· Sunday Days £20.00/hr
· Sunday Nights £23.00/hr
· Bank Holiday Days £20.00/hr
· Bank Holiday Nights £23.00/hr
· Week OT Days (5th Shift) £24.00/hr
· Week OT Nights (5th Shift) £27.60/hr
· Weekend OT Days (5th Shift) £30.00/hr
· Weekend OT Nights (5th Shift) £34.50/hr
Night rates apply if any part of the shift falls between 22:00 and 03:00.
