We are looking for a dedicated Senior Carer to join our friendly care team at Stocks Hall Skelmersdale, supporting elderly residents, including people living with dementia, to feel safe, valued, respected and at home.

As a Senior Carer, you will help guide and support the care team while delivering high-quality, person-centred care that protects dignity, encourages independence and brings comfort to residents and their families.
What you will do:
· Lead by example and support care staff during each shift.
· Provide respectful personal care and emotional support to residents.
· Promote independence, dignity and choice in everyday routines.
· Support residents living with dementia using patience, understanding and reassurance.
· Assist with care plans, daily records, handovers and communication with families and professionals.
· Help create a calm, welcoming and homely environment where residents can thrive.
What we are looking for:
· Experience working in a care home or similar care setting.
· A caring nature and genuine passion for supporting older people.
· Confidence to lead, encourage and mentor others.
· Good communication skills and a calm, positive approach.
· Understanding of dementia care and person-centred support.
· NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards it.
