About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Administrative Assistant to join our Production team.
Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you will provide essential administrative support to the Production department, helping to ensure that production paperwork, work orders and records are processed accurately and efficiently.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied administrative role, is confident working with computer systems and data, and would like to develop their experience within a professional manufacturing environment.
You will work closely with colleagues across Production, Stores, Quality and other departments, playing an important role in keeping information accurate, up to date and readily available to support the smooth running of production.
Previous administration or data-entry experience would be advantageous, but it is not essential. We are happy to provide full training to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities

- Enter production data and information into company systems.
- Maintain accurate, organised and up-to-date production records and documentation.

- Assist with document control, filing and general administrative duties.
- Monitor paperwork and follow up on outstanding information where required.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Production Manager and wider production team.
- Assist with maintaining efficient administrative processes within the Production department.
- Identify and suggest improvements to administrative processes where appropriate.
- Ensure all documentation is completed to a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
About You
The successful candidate will be organised, reliable and methodical, with a strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in an administrative, data-entry or office-based role.
- Good computer skills and confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work confidently with colleagues across different departments.
- A proactive approach and willingness to take responsibility for your work.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team.
The Right Person
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of accuracy, organisation and communication.
Our production environment can be fast-paced, and priorities can occasionally change at short notice. The successful candidate will therefore need to be comfortable working to deadlines, responding to urgent requests and adapting their workload when required.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone with the right attitude and work ethic. If you are reliable, keen to learn and looking for an opportunity to build your experience within a busy manufacturing business, we would like to hear from you.
