Overview
We are currently recruiting an experienced and compassionate Staff Nurse for a well-established nursing home in Enfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated nurse seeking an ongoing position within a supportive care environment.
As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing and person-centred care to residents. You will work as part of a professional and supportive multidisciplinary team to ensure residents' health, wellbeing and dignity are maintained at all times.
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective and person-centred nursing care
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised care plans
- Administer and manage medications in line with relevant policies and procedures
- Monitor residents' physical and emotional wellbeing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records
- Liaise with residents, families, GPs and other healthcare professionals
- Support and supervise care staff where required
- Ensure high standards of safeguarding, infection control and clinical practice are maintained
Experience
- Valid NMC registration
- Previous experience working as a Registered Nurse, ideally within a nursing home, care home or similar setting
- Strong clinical and medication management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A compassionate, professional and person-centred approach
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
