About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and experienced Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our team.
We are looking for someone who is confident working with young children and who has a genuine passion for providing high-quality care and learning experiences.
This is an important role within our setting, so we are looking for an experienced practitioner who is able to take responsibility for their own group of children and build strong, positive relationships with children and their families.
Essential requirements
To be considered for this position, you must:
- Hold a recognised Level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent.
- Have a minimum of 2 years' paid experience working in childcare/early years.
- Have previous experience working as a Key Person, with responsibility for your own group of children.
- Be registered on the DBS Update Service and have a current DBS that is suitable for working with children.
- Have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Be confident supporting children's learning and development and maintaining accurate observations and records.
- Have a good understanding of safeguarding and children's welfare.
- Be reliable, professional and able to work well as part of a team.
- Have a caring, patient and positive approach to working with children.
What we are looking for
The successful candidate will be someone who is passionate about early years and takes pride in providing children with a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.
You should be confident in planning activities around children's individual interests and development, communicating with parents and carers, and working alongside colleagues to provide consistently high standards of care.
We are particularly interested in applicants who have already had responsibility for their own key group and are confident managing the day-to-day needs, development and learning of their key children.

- Level 3 childcare qualification

- Previous Key Person experience with their own key group
- Current DBS registered on the DBS Update Service
Evidence of qualifications and DBS status will be required as part of the recruitment process.
All successful applicants will also be required to complete any additional employment and safeguarding checks required by the setting.
Pay: £12.75-£13.00 per hour
