An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a Business Support Officer to join the Business Support Team for the Children & Families Service based at Sandpiper House, Selby
The Role
We are looking to appoint a Business Support Officer to work with the NYC Fostering Service in providing high quality, professional support to the Fostering Recruitment Panel, Foster Carer Review process and in supporting Supervising Social Workers with their case management. You must be able to prioritise demanding workloads and work effectively as part of a team to meet deadlines.
The Skills you will need to demonstrate for this role are:
- Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written
- Have the ability to think on your feet in high pressures situations
- Previous administion experience and experince working as part of a team
- Good use of computer packages, such as Excel and Word, bespoke systems and/or data entry
- You must be able to prioritise your own workload, be conscientious, well-organised and have the ability to problem solve and be solution focussed
- Have the ability to work with limited supervision as well as being flexible in your approach
- Experience in minute taking is preferable but not essential as full training will be provided.
You must respect the need for confidentiality of personal information and have knowledge of Data Protection (GDPR), Equalities and Health and Safety requirements of working within an office environment.
