Overview
We are a successful garden landscaping company based in Bristol and seeking an enthusiastic Landscaper to join our small team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for horticulture and landscaping, with practical experience in landscape maintenance and construction. This role includes constructing patios, garden walls, pergolas, fencing, decking, and ponds. Applicants should be physically fit, organised, safety-conscious, and eager to work outdoors in all weather conditions. The role is a salaried full-time position with a pension.
Duties
- Installing porcelain and natural stone (sandstone and limestone) patios
- Installing decking (timber and composite)
- Constructing fences and pergolas
- Building ponds and waterfalls
- Laying lawns and planting (a knowledge of plants would be an advantage)
- Operate appropriate power tools and machinery
- Complete projects on time while adhering to safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscape work or horticulture is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of gardening practices, plant care, and horticultural principles.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for manual tasks.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and own transport to get to each site within Bristol and the surrounding areas of North Somerset, Bath, and South Gloucestershire.
- Reliable and positive attitude.
