About the Role
This is not your average apprentice role. We’re looking for someone who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and bring fresh ideas to the table. You’ll be working closely with our marketing and content teams to create engaging digital campaigns, manage social media, and optimise our website.
Your day-to-day will involve everything from social media management to SEO strategy, paid media campaigns, performance tracking, and more.
We need someone ready to jump in, take ownership, and grow with us as we build Living at Home’s digital presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Content Creation & Management: Create, plan, and schedule engaging content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google My Business, TikTok), engage with our online community, and monitor trends.
- SEO & Content Strategy: Conduct keyword research, optimise on-page SEO, and support our content strategy, including blog writing and video scripts.
- Paid Media Campaigns: Develop and manage Facebook Ads, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads, and track metrics to maximise ROI.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track and report digital performance with tools like Google Analytics, providing insights and recommendations.
- Google My Business Optimisation: Keep our GMB profiles updated and optimise for local SEO.
- Website Management & Technical Optimisation: Conduct website audits and improve site performance, UX, and SEO.
- Email Marketing & Automation: Design and execute email marketing campaigns, segment audiences, and A/B test campaigns.
- Creative Graphic & Video Editing Skills: Support design needs with tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
The Perfect Candidate Will Tick These Boxes:
- Background in Marketing: You have formal education in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience in digital marketing.
- 2-4 Years of Experience: You’re not new to digital marketing and have hands-on experience with SEO, content, and paid ads.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiar with tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, WordPress, and Google Analytics.
- Detail-Oriented: You’re organised, efficient, and great at managing multiple tasks.
- Bonus Points: Google Analytics and Ads certifications, local SEO experience, and familiarity with CRM platforms.

What a Typical Day Might Look Like:
- 9:00am: Kick off with a team meeting to review content ideas, ad performance, and upcoming campaigns.
- 10:00am: Dive into social media, planning and scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and identifying trending topics to boost engagement.
- 11:30am: SEO time – research keywords, review site performance, and optimise content for higher search rankings.
- 1:00pm: Lunch break – chat with colleagues, grab a bite, and recharge.
- 2:00pm: Review paid ad campaigns, analyse performance metrics, and make adjustments to improve ROI.
- 3:30pm: Work on a blog post or video script to support our content strategy, collaborating with the team to ensure messaging aligns with brand goals.
- 5:00pm: Wrap up with performance tracking, checking Google Analytics, and preparing insights for tomorrow’s strategy meeting.
