QC Technician
Location: Haltwhistle, Northumberland
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Prozomix is looking for a QC Technician to join our laboratory team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with laboratory experience or a recent science graduate looking to develop a career in quality control. Previous QC experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality control testing, including SDS-PAGE and other analytical techniques such as HPLC.
- Record and maintain accurate QC documentation.
- Assist with maintaining and improving quality systems.
- Work closely with production and R&D teams to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Follow laboratory procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
About You
- A qualification in a relevant scientific subject (or equivalent laboratory experience).
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to learn and develop new skills.
