We are a family run waste company based in Ramsbottom looking to recruit class 1 & 2 drivers due to expansion.
Experience preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
Clean licence preferred (max 3 points). Must hold a valid, up to date Driver CPC Card.
40 hours per week minimum plus overtime.
Local work only - no nights out.
Salary £14.70/hour whilst training, £16.00/hour afterwards (this includes £51.75 per week attendance bonus payable for a full weeks attendance) - overtime paid at £22.05 per hour after 40 hours.
28 days paid holiday per annum (incl. bank holidays).
Full uniform is provided.

Responsibilities
- Operate HGV Class 1/2 vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
- Document collection details and report any issues or delays to management promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of driving hours and comply with all relevant regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service during collections, addressing any customer enquiries or concerns.
