Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Early Years Tutor to join our dedicated team. You’ll play a key role in supporting and inspiring learners undertaking Apprenticeships, Diplomas, Skills Bootcamps and Short Courses within Early Years sector.
The Apprenticeship Tutor will deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across apprenticeship programmes, skills bootcamps, diploma provision and commercial training.
The role is responsible for supporting learners to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for successful achievement, progression and end-point assessment, whilst ensuring compliance with funding, awarding organisation and quality requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of work-based apprentices and diploma learners, supporting them through to timely achievement of their qualifications.
- Plan, deliver and assess engaging classroom sessions and one-to-one learning, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across all programmes.
- Deliver exceptional training across Early Years qualifications.
- Carry out lesson planning, preparation and research to ensure effective delivery and learner engagement.
- Provide constructive feedback, information, advice and guidance to support learner progression.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of learner records, e-portfolio updates and progress reviews.
- Embed Functional Skills delivery into all teaching and learning sessions.
- Take responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all learners.
- Promote Health & Safety, Equality & Diversity, British Values and the Prevent agenda throughout delivery.
- Participate in standardisation meetings, self-assessment and continuous professional development activities.
- Travel to learner and employer locations required.
Requirements
- Relevant experience working in Early Years.
- Level 3-5
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to motivate and engage learners.
- A commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and continuous improvement.
KPI's to be discussed at interview.

Pay: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
