Overview
NPC Energy Solutions Ltd is a specialist contractor operating within the district heating and energy infrastructure sector. We deliver both civil and mechanical packages, including excavation, utility installation, pre-insulated pipework, welding, reinstatement and associated infrastructure works.
Duties
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and coordination of site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to the required quality standards.
Projects will predominantly involve district heating installations within highways and public sector estates and utility environments.
- Supervise and coordinate site operatives, subcontractors and plant.
- Ensure works are carried out safely and in accordance with approved RAMS and company procedures.
- Deliver daily briefings, toolbox talks and site inductions.
- Monitor productivity and ensure programme milestones are achieved.
- Liaise with Site Manager and help developing a look-ahead programme.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements.
- Complete daily site records, including diaries, inspections and progress reports.
- Ensure all plant, equipment and materials are available and used efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and professionalism on site.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Site Supervisor role within civil engineering.
- Proven experience supervising excavation and utility works.
- Experience working within highways and public realm environments.
- SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
- First Aid.
- CSCS Card.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using digital site management systems such as Microsoft 365, Procore or similar platforms.
- Temporary Works Supervisor qualification.
- Experience within district heating, utilities, gas, water or energy infrastructure sectors.
