Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Out of School Club / Holiday Club Coordinator to lead engaging activities and ensure a safe, nurturing environment for children during after-school hours and holiday periods. Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and oversee a variety of stimulating activities tailored to children’s interests and developmental needs during after-school and holiday sessions
- Supervise children to ensure their safety, well-being, and enjoyment at all times
- Coordinate with team members to deliver a seamless program that promotes learning, creativity, and social interaction
- Maintain clear communication with parents regarding children’s progress, activities, and any concerns
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and club procedures
- Manage daily administrative tasks such as attendance records, activity planning documentation, and incident reports
- Support the recruitment, training, and development of staff or volunteers involved in the club
Skills
- Proven experience in childcare, teaching, nannying or similar roles with a strong understanding of child development principles
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a lively environment
- Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in French is a plus for engaging diverse communities
- Valid driving license preferred for transporting children or supplies as needed
- Passionate about creating fun educational experiences that inspire children’s growth and confidence
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and health & safety standards relevant to childcare settings
