- Supporting audits, action plans and operational improvement programmes.
- Developing practical training materials and competency standards.
- Identifying training gaps and supporting consistent inductions and refresher training.
- Reviewing operational processes and identifying opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, sales and guest experience.
- Leading and supporting improvement projects, new systems and operational changes.
- Acting as the main link between park teams and Finance, HR, Marketing and Guest Support.
- Supporting the implementation of Activeon Group projects and standards.
- Coaching and supporting Regional and Park Managers.
- Using operational data, audit findings and feedback to identify priorities.
- Reporting emerging risks, recurring issues and progress to the Managing Director.
About You
You will be an experienced multi-site operator who can balance high standards and compliance with the practical realities of running busy customer-facing venues.
You will have:
- Multi-site operational management experience within leisure, hospitality, retail or another customer-facing environment.
- Experience in operational compliance, training and process improvement.
- Strong coaching, communication and influencing skills.
- The ability to translate policies and requirements into practical ways of working.
- Strong organisation, planning and reporting skills.
- Confidence analysing information and managing several workstreams.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- The flexibility to travel regularly across the UK.
Experience within leisure, attractions or family entertainment would be beneficial, as would a relevant qualification in training, auditing, health and safety or learning and development.
