Sales Assistant – Chapter 38, Corbridge
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable Sales Assistant to join our team at Chapter 38, an independent ladies' fashion boutique in the heart of Corbridge.
Hours
- 7 hours per week
- Flexibility to cover holidays and busy periods is essential
- Additional hours may be available for the right candidate
About the Role
As a key member of our team, you will help create an exceptional shopping experience for our customers while supporting the day-to-day running of the boutique.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service and build strong relationships with customers
- Assist customers with styling advice and product recommendations
- Operate our EPOS till system and process transactions accurately (previous EPOS/till experience is desirable)
- Help maintain attractive visual merchandising and shop displays
- Receive and process deliveries
- Support stock management and replenishment
- Assist with creating content for social media platforms, including photos, videos, and promotional posts
- Promote the Chapter 38 brand both in-store and online
What We're Looking For
- Previous fashion retail experience is essential
- A genuine passion for fashion and styling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming shopping environment
- Confidence using social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook
- A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, flexible, and well-presented
