Job Overview:
We are seeking a number of skilled Mobile Maintenance operatives to join our team. As a Mobile Maintenance operative, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance tasks, along with ensuring that planned and reactive jobs are carried out in a safe and proper manner. This is a critical role that requires a strong maintenance background and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting issues on various sites
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues or areas for improvement
- Diagnose building defects, plumbing issues and a range of other maintenance related issues
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools or power tools
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed for reporting purposes
- Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance efforts
- Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Operative or similar role, including basic skills in decorating, plumbing and general building works
- Proficiency in reading plans and technical manuals
- Ability to supervise when necessary
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
