JRL Modular are currently recruiting for a Line Leader to join their growing team in the PUC’s (Prefabricated Utility Cupboards) area.

Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:00pm
Friday: 7:30am – 3:00pm (Paid till 4pm)
Role Overview:
The Line Leader plays a key role in the day-to-day running of the production team. This is a hands-on position, responsible for leading, motivating, and supporting a small team to meet production targets safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Performance

Lead and manage a team of operatives

Drive team performance to meet production targets and deadlines

Support and develop team members to maintain high standards

Planning & Organisation

Organise daily workloads to ensure efficient production

Conduct daily team briefings and monitor attendance

Ensure the team has the tools and materials required for each shift
Communication & Reporting

Communicate clearly with team members and management

Provide updates on progress and escalate any issues promptly

Quality & Compliance

Ensure all work meets required quality standards

Follow ISO procedures and support continuous improvement

Assist in resolving technical or production issues
Health & Safety

Promote a strong health & safety culture

Ensure correct use of PPE at all times

Requirements:

Previous experience in a team leader / supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

Ability to lead, motivate and manage a team effectively

Good attention to detail and commitment to quality

Reliable with a strong work ethic
Desirable:

Experience within construction, manufacturing, or a related industry

Plumbing or mechanical background (advantageous but not essential)
