Credit Controller Role Overview
NC Associates are currently recruiting a Credit Controller to join a leading business based in Skelmersdale on a 12 month FTC. As the Credit Controller you will be responsible for managing an allocated customer ledger, ensuring outstanding debts are collected promptly and accurately, while maintaining a professional approach at all times.
Credit Controller Responsibilities:

Managing an allocated customer ledger and monitoring outstanding balances

Chasing customers by telephone and email

Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers

Allocating and reconciling customer payments accurately

Investigating and resolving account queries
-
Raising and processing credit notes where required

Monitoring aged debt and prioritising collection activity

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer account records

Providing regular updates on outstanding debt and collection activity

Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
Credit Controller Experience Required:
-
Proven experience managing a customer ledger and chasing outstanding debt

Confident communicating with customers by telephone and email

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

Ability to investigate and resolve account queries effectively

Comfortable working to deadlines and collection targets

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

A professional, confident and proactive approach
-
Ability to work independently as well as part of a wider finance team
