Overview
We are currently seeking a software tester to join the development team working on the full testing lifecycle.
The ideal candidate will have experience with both, front and back end testing. Communication skills, both written and verbal must be very strong.
As well as having 3 years of experience as a QA or software tester the ideal candidate will have the following:
* End to end Web based application testing experience (functional and non-functional)
* Experience of writing test plans, developing test scenarios, test scripts and test data -
* Experience of executing test scripts, maintaining test records, defect logs and measuring quality
* Experience of creating automated test scripts and running automated tests
* Experience of API testing using appropriate tools
* Experience of managing user acceptance testing with Clients
* Basic SQL Server experience
* Ability to work to strict deadlines
* ISTQB/ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing (preferable)
* Understanding of test processes and procedures to be able to implement best practices
Other Required Skills:
* Understand and analyse the requirements from the client and read all the documents like SRS and define the test approach and requirements.
* Preparation and execution of test environments, data, scenarios, cases
* The ability to handle multiple projects and deliverables
* Release management and configuration management (preferable)
Beneficial skills:
* Prior experience of coding PHP or similar languages
* Knowledge of MySQL queries and relational databases
* Understanding of GIT
* HTML, CSS and Javascript
Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
