Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Technical Consultant, you'll:
- Lead technical discovery sessions to understand client requirements, business objectives, and technology challenges.
- Design and recommend scalable, secure, and practical technology solutions.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and implementation plans.
- Provide technical guidance throughout solution design, development, testing, and implementation.
- Work closely with clients to understand their technology environments and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with software engineers, architects, DevOps specialists, project managers, and business teams.
- Evaluate existing systems and recommend modernization, integration, and optimization strategies.
- Support cloud, infrastructure, software, data, and enterprise technology initiatives.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, architecture diagrams, and project recommendations.
- Support system integration, technical testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.
- Present technical solutions and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to technical knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Research emerging technologies and recommend improvements that strengthen client solutions and delivery practices.
We're Looking For Someone Who Is
- Experienced in delivering technology solutions within a consulting, enterprise, or client-facing environment.
- Confident communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and technical decision-making.
- Comfortable taking ownership of complex technical challenges from discovery through implementation.
- Commercially aware and able to connect technology decisions with business outcomes.
- Organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working with stakeholders at different levels.
- Confident presenting ideas, influencing decisions, and building trusted professional relationships.
- Passionate about technology and committed to continuous professional development.
Previous experience in technical consulting, solution architecture, software engineering, cloud engineering, infrastructure, systems integration, or enterprise technology is highly beneficial.
