Job Overview
Whitecrest cleaning is seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team and help maintain a high standard of cleanliness across various commercial premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are hygienic, organised, and presentable, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and previous janitorial experience to develop their skills within a professional setting.
Responsibilities
- Carry out thorough deep cleaning assignments across residential and commercial properties, including degreasing kitchen appliances, descaling bathroom fixtures, cleaning behind and underneath all furniture, and fully sanitising all hard and soft surfaces to a professional standard.
- Complete end of tenancy cleans to a standard that meets or exceeds landlord and letting agent inspection criteria, ensuring every item on the standard end of tenancy checklist is finished before leaving the property — with no exceptions.
- Independently manage your own arrival time, schedule, and workload at each assignment, completing all tasks within the allocated time frame without the need for supervision, reminders, or follow-up visits.
- Supply, transport, and maintain all professional cleaning products and equipment required for each assignment at your own cost, including multi-surface cleaners, degreasers, descalers, scrubbing tools, a hoover, mop and bucket, and sufficient microfibre cloths.
- Conduct a documented walkthrough of the property upon arrival and again upon completion, noting any pre-existing damage and confirming all cleaning tasks have been carried out to the required standard before leaving the site.
- Handle, store, and dispose of all cleaning chemicals safely and in full compliance with COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) guidelines at all times during assignments.
- Communicate professionally and clearly with clients throughout each assignment, managing any on-site queries or concerns in a calm and solution-focused manner, and escalating unresolved issues to management in a timely way.
- Plan and manage your own travel to all client locations across London independently, ensuring punctual arrival at the agreed start time.
- Maintain a consistently professional standard of work and conduct across every assignment, treating client properties and belongings with the utmost care and respect, and upholding the company's reputation at all times while on site.
