Responsibilities
- Provide customized massage therapy sessions tailored to each client’s specific needs and preferences
- Conduct thorough consultations to assess client health history, preferences, and areas requiring attention
- Maintain a clean, safe, and relaxing treatment environment adhering to all health and safety standards
- Educate clients on self-care techniques and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or wellness practices
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant observations
- Promote wellness services and products to enhance the client experience and support ongoing health goals
- Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and certifications through ongoing education
Skills
- Proven experience as a licensed Massage Therapist with valid certification/license in good standing
- Strong knowledge of various massage techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, and aromatherapy
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen attentively and provide clear guidance
- Ability to create a welcoming atmosphere that fosters trust and relaxation for clients of diverse backgrounds
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills for maintaining accurate treatment records
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with team members
- Passion for promoting health, wellness, and holistic approaches to care
