B1 Foiling Operator
Location: Shipley, West Yorkshire
Salary: £34,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Standard double-day shifts, with additional flexibility during peak periods
I’m recruiting for an experienced B1 Foiling Operator to join a long-established and growing packaging manufacturer based in Shipley.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can produce high-quality packaging at speed using modern foiling machinery.
The role
- Setting and operating B1 foiling machinery
- Producing quality packaging at efficient production speeds
- Working with flat, fluted and multi-level dies
- Carrying out machine adjustments and regular quality checks
- Working with lightweight paper through to heavyweight materials
- Minimising waste and production downtime
- Recording production information accurately using an MIS system
- Providing additional shift coverage during peak production periods
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience setting and operating B1 foiling machinery
- Experience using flat, fluted and multi-level dies
- Embossing experience would be highly advantageous
- A strong understanding of quality within packaging production
- Familiarity with MIS systems
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Flexibility to work double-day shifts and potentially additional shift patterns during busy periods
- Ability to commute or relocate to Shipley
- Availability to start as soon as possible
