New Opportunity – Blow Moulding Setter
Hours: Monday to Friday Only – 3 Rotating Shifts
Days 6am – 2pm / Afternoons 2pm – 10pm / Nights Rotation 10pm – 6am
Pay: From £17.05 per hour (equal to £35,464)
Our client, a leading UK manufacturer, is currently recruiting an experienced Blow Moulding Setter to join their expanding team due to continued business growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced setter seeking long-term stability, career progression and the opportunity to secure a permanent role following a successful trial period.
As the new Blow Moulding Setter, you will:
- Set and adjust blow moulding machines to ensure efficient production runs
- Carry out tool changes, mould changes and machine start-ups
- Optimise machine performance to achieve production targets and minimise downtime
- Monitor product quality and making process adjustments where required
- Troubleshoot machine faults and liaising with maintenance teams when necessary
- Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer specifications
- Record production data and completing relevant documentation
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the production department
- Train and assisting operators where required
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and company procedures at all times
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Blow Moulding Setter within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of blow moulding machinery, tooling and processing
- Ability to identify and resolve machine and process issues effectively
- Good understanding of quality standards and continuous improvement practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent attendance and reliability
- Flexible approach to working rotating shifts
