We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide them with menus, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- Take accurate food and drink orders, using basic maths skills to process transactions efficiently.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety regulations and culinary best practices.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any needs or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control of dishes served.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality by providing attentive service and anticipating guest needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cafe/restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic maths skills for processing orders and handling payments accurately.
- A team player who can work collaboratively within a diverse team environment.
