Job Overview
We are seeking experienced and reliable Marquee Riggers to join our team for upcoming events and installations. The role involves the safe and efficient rigging of marquees, ensuring structures are erected securely and in accordance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of rigging procedures, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Duties
- Set up, assemble, and dismantle marquees and related structures on-site, following detailed plans and safety guidelines.
- Use appropriate rigging equipment such as ropes, pulleys, scaffolding, and lifting gear to secure structures.
- Conduct thorough safety checks before, during, and after installation to ensure stability and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with event organisers and other team members to coordinate the rigging process efficiently.
- Maintain all rigging tools and equipment in good condition, reporting any faults or damages promptly.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment at various locations.
- Ensure work areas are kept tidy and free from hazards throughout the rigging process.
Requirements
- Proven experience in marquee rigging or similar structural assembly roles is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to rigging, working at heights, and event setup.
- Ability to operate basic rigging tools and equipment safely.
- Physically fit with good strength and stamina to handle lifting tasks and work at heights when necessary.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for precise assembly work.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients.
- Relevant certifications such as PASMA or IPAF are advantageous but not essential; training can be provided for suitable candidates.

Pay: £150.00-£170.00 per day
