Are you passionate about sports and inspiring others to achieve their best? We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Sports Coach to lead, motivate, and develop children aged 4 to 11 across various skill levels. In this role, you will be required to deliver PE lessons to a class of children following a pre-determined scheme of work. Duties
- Deliver comprehensive PE lessons in a variety of sports (Football, Athletics, Cricket, Basketball, Rounders, Tennis & Netball) tailored to different age groups and skill levels
- Deliver engaging extra curricular club, Football and athletic sessions throughout the year, covering skills based games and matches
- During school holiday periods work with other members of staff to deliver holiday camps for Primary Schools aged children.
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect
- Organise and deliver the School's Boys and Girls Football teams in the local Aylesbury League
- Work with the school to promote sport to the maximum within the school.
- Perform administrative tasks within the school such as registering the children at the start of the day
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all training sessions and sporting events
Skills
- Proven sports coaching experience with the ability to adapt coaching styles for diverse groups
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate complex techniques clearly and effectively
- Excellent leadership qualities that inspire motivation and teamwork and maintain control of the class to allow sessions to progress
- Ability to assess athlete strengths and areas for improvement with attention to detail
- Positive attitude with a passion for promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles
- Good organizational skills to plan sessions, track progress, and coordinate events
- Commitment to creating an inclusive environment that values diversity and sportsmanship
Additional
The role can be flexible with how much work a candidate delivers during school holiday periods. This role can range from not working in school holiday periods all the way through to working 25 hours per week (Condensed into 4 working days)
The role also has the opportunity to work for an hour on Saturday mornings delivering a Football Club for local children (27 weeks of the year).
Candidates will only be considered if the have access to a car at all times
We are looking for somebody to start this role towards the end of August so we can provide a comprehensive induction before the schools go back in September.
Pay: £1,850.00-£2,050.00 per month
