We are seeking a passionate and energetic Breakfast Chef to join our busy kitchen team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast dishes that delight our guests and set the tone for their day. This is a varied role which will focus on breakfast service, while also supporting lunch service and food preparation for our other busy services throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities
- Breakfast Service – Prepare and cook a high-quality breakfast service for our hotel guests, including cooked breakfasts, eggs, bacon, sausages and other breakfast dishes.
- Breakfast Preparation – Complete all daily breakfast preparation efficiently and ensure the section is fully prepared and organised for service.
- Lunch Service – Assist with preparing and cooking lunch service, ensuring dishes are produced to a consistently high standard.
- General Food Preparation – Carry out preparation for other kitchen services, including chopping, portioning, sauces, stocks, desserts and other dishes as required.
- Service Support – Work alongside the wider kitchen team to support smooth and efficient service during busy periods.
- Quality & Presentation – Ensure all food is prepared, cooked and presented to the required standards.
- Stock & Organisation – Keep food areas replenished, organised and correctly stored, while helping to monitor stock levels.
- Food Safety & Hygiene – Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and food safety throughout the kitchen.
- Allergens – Follow allergen procedures carefully and ensure dietary requirements are handled safely and accurately.
- Kitchen Organisation – Keep the breakfast section and preparation areas clean, tidy and organised throughout the day.
- Teamwork & Communication – Work effectively with senior chefs and the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams.
- Adaptability – Be willing to assist across different kitchen sections and with other duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working as a chef, ideally with experience in breakfast and daytime service.
- Confident cooking a range of breakfast dishes to a high standard.
- Experience of preparing food for busy lunch or other kitchen services.
- Able to work efficiently and calmly in a busy, high-volume environment.
- Good understanding of food hygiene, food safety and allergen procedures.
- Organised, reliable and able to work independently.
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Keen to learn and receptive to guidance from senior chefs.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a strong work ethic.
- Takes pride in food quality, presentation and consistency.
- Holds or is willing to obtain a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.

Salary: Negotiable based on experience and age.
