TWO EXPERIENCED LANDSCAPING LABOURERS REQUIRED
£120–£150 per day | Self-employed | Full-time
Align Landscapes is looking for two experienced labourers to join our growing landscaping teams.
Applicants must have previous experience in at least one of the following:
- Landscaping or groundworks General construction Labouring alongside bricklayers Labouring alongside groundworkers Hard-landscaping projects
This is not an entry-level position. You must already understand how a professional construction or landscaping site operates and be comfortable carrying out physically demanding work.
The role will include:
- Excavation and ground preparation Moving materials and removing waste Mixing concrete and mortar Preparing and compacting sub-bases Assisting with paving, brickwork, drainage and fencing Loading and unloading vehicles Using basic tools and machinery where competent Keeping sites clean, safe and organised Supporting skilled landscapers and team leaders
The right people will:
- Have proven construction, groundworks or landscaping experience Be reliable, punctual and ready to work Be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors Listen carefully and follow instructions Work at a good pace without needing constant supervision Take pride in keeping the site clean and organised Respect customers’ properties, tools and equipment Be keen and able to learn new skills Want to progress into a skilled landscaper’s role over time
A full UK driving licence and your own reliable transport are essential. You must be able to get yourself to our yard or directly to site when required.
This requirement is non-negotiable. Please do not apply if you cannot drive, do not have your own transport or cannot reliably get yourself to work each day.
Working hours are generally 7:30am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday. The team usually meets at our yard at approximately 7:00am.
Pay: £120–£150 per day, depending on your experience, ability and the amount of supervision required.
This is a self-employed position. You will be responsible for paying your own Income Tax and National Insurance contributions.
Consistent, long-term work is available. For the right people, there is genuine potential to learn hard-landscaping skills, take on more responsibility and progress into a landscaper’s position.
