Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly attitude.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests or dietary needs are noted and accommodated.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
- Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns proactively.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, including tables, trays, and workstations.
- Follow all food safety regulations and hygiene standards to keep both guests and staff safe.
Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and change accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper serving techniques.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- A genuine passion for guest services and creating positive dining experiences.
