Formulation Scientist 1
Location: Swindon
Job summary: 12 month FTC
We are currently recruiting for a motivated scientist to join the Formulation team within Product Development on a 12 month FTC. This role will support the development of new and improved products, contributing to enhanced patient outcomes.
The Role:
Supporting formulation activities within Product Development
Developing robust formulations using Quality by Design (QbD) principles and a patient-focused approach
Gaining hands-on experience with Zydis® within a development environment
Collaborating with cross-functional teams on project delivery
Supporting customer-facing activities and translating requirements into practical solutions
Degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g. Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry) or equivalent experience
Experience or strong interest in pharmaceutical formulation and/or process development
Awareness of QbD principles and a patient-first mindset
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across cross-functional teams
Confident supporting customer interactions and project requirements
Proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented approach
Motivated to develop knowledge of Zydis® and broaden impact within Catalent
