Doncaster Council are looking for an Early Help Coordinator to work within the East Locality to work in the Partnership & Families Triage Team, delivering an all-age people centred approach through the locality model and Think Families programme. The primary focus is to achieve improved and sustainable outcomes for children, young people, vulnerable adults and families through swift access to information, advice and guidance or early intervention and prevention support.
The role involves working across the Partnership to support children, families and communities with the early help offer, assisting with screening of families and supporting Lead Practitioners and families, by delivering local help within your locality and supporting the wider teams within Your Place. Additionally, you will be role modelling good practice and delivering training to Lead Professionals.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with partners to support, children, families and communities with the early help offer, assisting with screening of families and supporting lead practitioners, by delivering local help within your locality and supporting wider teams within Your Place. Additionally experience in negotiating case allocation, making key decisions to manage risk and coordinate interventions to ensure all clients are safeguarded, through the application of child and adult thresholds, supporting family’s criteria and contextual safeguarding practice.
