Front of House and Patient Care Coordinator
Keyworth Dental Practice | Keyworth, Nottingham
Full Time | Permanent
Salary: £28,600–£30,160 per annum (£13.75–£14.50 per hour), depending on experience
Become the welcoming face of one of Nottinghamshire's leading private dental practices.
At Keyworth Dental Practice, we believe exceptional patient care begins the moment someone contacts us.
We're looking for an outstanding Dental Receptionist / Front of House to become the welcoming face of our practice and help deliver an exceptional patient experience from the very first interaction.
This is not a traditional reception role.
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys looking after people, takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service and wants to become an integral part of a friendly, ambitious and growing private practice.
Why Join Keyworth Dental Practice?
Keyworth Dental Practice is a modern, independently owned private dental practice providing high-quality general dentistry, orthodontics, implants, hygiene and cosmetic dentistry.
Following a recent refurbishment, we've created a beautiful, welcoming environment for both our patients and our team. We are proud of the reputation we've built within our local community and continually strive to improve every aspect of the patient journey.
We're looking for someone who is seeking more than just their next job. We hope to find a team member who wants to build a long-term career with us, become an integral part of our practice family and take pride in helping us deliver exceptional care to our patients for many years to come.
If you're passionate about people, enjoy making a genuine difference and want to be part of a practice that values excellence, kindness and continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
As the first person many of our patients meet, you'll play a vital role in shaping their experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming patients and creating a warm, professional first impression.
- Managing appointments and helping to optimise clinicians' diaries.
- Handling telephone and email enquiries.
- Supporting recalls and treatment follow-up.
- Processing payments.
- Supporting Denplan administration.
- Helping maximise diary utilisation.
- Assisting with patient feedback and Google reviews.
- Working closely with our clinicians and wider team.
- Looking for opportunities to continually improve systems and the patient experience.
We're Looking For Someone Who:
✔ Loves working with people and naturally enjoys helping others.
✔ Is warm, approachable and professional.
✔ Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
✔ Takes ownership and responsibility for their work.
✔ Takes pride in using their initiative, looking for ways to support the team and proactively helping wherever needed, rather than waiting to be asked.
✔ Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
✔ Thrives in a busy environment.
✔ Enjoys solving problems.
✔ Is dependable, positive and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.
✔ Wants to contribute ideas and help the practice continue to grow.
This Role Would Suit Someone From:
- Private dentistry
- Private healthcare
- Hospitality
- Hotel reception
- Luxury retail
- Professional client services
- Customer service roles where delivering an exceptional client experience is second nature.
Previous dental reception experience is welcomed but is not essential.
We're much more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, professionalism, emotional intelligence and willingness to learn. We can teach our systems—we're looking for someone who shares our values.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary of £28,600–£30,160 per annum (equivalent to £13.75–£14.50 per hour), depending on experience.
- Ongoing training and professional development.
- A supportive and friendly team.
- A beautifully refurbished private practice.
- Staff benefits.
- A long-term career opportunity within a growing independent practice.
We believe in recognising and rewarding people who take ownership, contribute positively to the team and demonstrate continued professional growth.
