Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and operate the till system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area, equipment, and seating space in accordance with food safety standards.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently, including proper food safety procedures.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when required.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimise wait times and optimise customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
- Experience with serving customers in a fast-paced environment is desirable.
- Basic understanding of food preparation techniques is beneficial.
- Good time management skills are essential to handle multiple orders efficiently.
- Ability to perform basic maths for cash handling and transaction processing confidently.

Pay: £12.71-£14.50 per hour
