We are looking for an experienced, reliable Housekeeper or Housekeeping Team Leader to oversee the cleaning, changeovers, and day-to-day presentation of a high-end luxury holiday let in North Yorkshire (Cray, Skipton).
This is a hands-on role, involving both cleaning the property to a five-star standard and managing your own small team to ensure smooth, efficient turnovers between guest stays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out full property changeovers between guest bookings
- Deep cleaning and resetting bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living spaces, spa/outdoor areas
- Stripping and remaking beds to luxury standard; managing linen and towel changes
- Checking rooms for damage, maintenance issues, or missing items and reporting promptly
- Restocking guest essentials and ensuring the property is guest-ready for arrival
- Managing, coordinating, and supervising your own housekeeping team on changeover days
- Ensuring cleaning schedules are met within tight turnaround times
- Maintaining consistently high standards across every area of the property
About You:
- Proven experience in holiday let, hotel, or luxury accommodation housekeeping
- Confident leading a small team and organising workloads
- Extremely detail-oriented with high personal standards
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work to deadlines
- Based locally (ideally within a 30-minute drive) to allow flexibility for guest needs or last-minute turnarounds
