We're looking for a Head Chef to lead our kitchen at Lancaster Golf Club. This is a fantastic opportunity to put your own stamp on our menus, work with fresh, quality ingredients, and be part of a friendly, supportive club with a great reputation.
What you'll be doing:
- Creating delicious seasonal menus for our members and visitors.
- Leading and inspiring the kitchen team.
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.
- Managing stock, ordering, and kitchen budgets.
- Catering for everything from daily service to golf events, functions, and special occasions.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef ready to step up.
- Is organised, creative, and passionate about great food.
- Leads by example and enjoys developing a team.
- Holds a good understanding of food safety and kitchen management.
- Thrives in a busy but rewarding environment.
- Proven supervisory experience in a professional kitchen setting, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Extensive background in food production, cooking, and food preparation techniques
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
- Solid understanding of food safety standards and regulations
- Experience in menu development and culinary innovation
- Previous restaurant experience demonstrating excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of hospitality operations including serving procedures is advantageous

Pay: From £37,000.00 per year
