Position: Vehicle Compound Manager
Salary: £31,000 - £35,000 per annum DOE
Hours: 47.5 /week 07:30-17:30 MON-FRI

We're looking for an organised and proactive Vehicle Compound Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of our busy vehicle compound in Havant.
Home to around 150-200 new and used vehicles from Hyundai, Škoda, Suzuki, MG, Genesis, Chery and Geely, our compound is at the heart of our vehicle preparation operation. Working with a team of Drivers and Valeters, you'll coordinate around 100 vehicle movements each week, ensuring vehicles are fuelled, charged, valeted and ready for delivery across the Group.

As our Vehicle Compound Manager, you'll be:
- Managing the daily operation of our vehicle compound by leading a team of Drivers, Valeters and temporary staff during busy periods.
- Maintaining accurate vehicle records using our internal systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Working closely with Sales and Aftersales teams to meet delivery deadlines.
- Ensuring vehicles are fuelled, charged, valeted and prepared for delivery.
- Coordinating vehicle deliveries, transporter arrivals and site capacity.
- Promoting a safe, organised and efficient working environment.
- Planning vehicle movements across our dealership network.
Ideally, you are:
- Experienced in working in a similar Vehicle Compound Manager, Vehicle Logistics, Fleet, Transport, Stock Control, Vehicle Preparation or Automotive Operations role, ideally within the motor trade.
- Good communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Experienced in leading or coordinating a team in a busy environment.
- A calm, practical leader with strong problem-solving skills.
- A competent IT user especially with Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent planner with strong organisational skills.
