Are you an experienced programme leader who can turn a bold data ambition into coordinated, measurable delivery?
Together in Data will change how Platform connects, governs and uses information. It brings together three linked areas of work: Together in Data, Data Maturity and Enterprise Integration. The aim is simple: trusted information, better-connected services and stronger decisions for customers and colleagues.
You'll work across business teams, Data, Analytics and AI, IT, senior leaders and delivery partners. You'll create clarity, pace and accountability across a complex portfolio, ensuring technology, culture and ways of working move forward together.
- Own one integrated roadmap and delivery plan across the three connected areas of work, including milestones, dependencies and decisions.
- Turn the programme vision and approved business cases into practical phases, priorities and measurable benefits.
- Bring together technical specialists, business experts and change leads, resolving barriers and driving decisions through to action.
- Run proportionate governance, assurance, risk and issue management that supports delivery rather than bureaucracy.
- Lead suppliers and delivery partners, holding them to clear outcomes, quality, timescales and value for money.
We care more about what you've delivered than the label on your previous role. You may come from data, technology, transformation or programme delivery.
- Extensive experience of leading enterprise-wide data, integration, digital or technology-enabled change.
- Experience of managing a complex portfolio with significant dependencies, competing priorities and measurable benefits.
- A strong track record of leading matrix teams, business experts and third-party suppliers.
- The ability to move between strategic leadership, delivery assurance and hands-on problem solving.
- Strong supplier and commercial management, focused on outcomes and value for money.
- Confident communication with technical and non-technical audiences, including explaining choices and trade-offs clearly.
- A practical understanding of data governance, data maturity, analytics and enterprise integration. Experience of Microsoft Fabric and Azure would be advantageous.
- A relevant programme or project management qualification, such as MSP, PRINCE2, Agile or Scrum, and a degree or equivalent professional experience.
While this role is home based, you should be able to travel to Group offices and other locations as required. Our Group offices are at Birmingham Business Park, Solihull and Central Park, Worcester.
- 28 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), with the opportunity to buy and sell leave.
- Family-friendly policies, including generous parental and adoption leave, plus three days paid urgent domestic leave.
- Medicash membership, including an employee assistance programme, discounted gym membership and exclusive discounts.
- A Health Cash Plan worth up to £1,700 a year, with cashback for dental, optical, physiotherapy and more.
- A pension scheme with employee contributions of up to 3%; Platform will contribute up to 8%, including life assurance and dependent on contributions.
- Learning and development opportunities.
- Salary sacrifice electric vehicle and cycle to work schemes.
- An employee reward and recognition scheme, wellbeing hub and retailer discounts.
