Registered Manager – Flexible Part-Time Opportunity
Do you have a few hours per week to help establish and grow a new care business? Niamz Companions is a growing care and companionship business currently working towards establishing its Care at Home service. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to join us at this exciting stage and help us build the foundations of a safe, compliant and high-quality care service. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care professional who is looking for a flexible role alongside other commitments and would enjoy being involved in establishing and shaping a new service.
About the Role
Initially, the role will require a few hours per week, with the potential for the hours and responsibilities to increase as the service develops and the number of people we support grows. You will work closely with the business owner and wider team to: - Support the Care Inspectorate registration process - Provide professional leadership and management oversight - Help establish effective policies, procedures and quality assurance systems - Ensure the service is developed in line with regulatory requirements - Support the recruitment, induction and development of staff - Promote safe, person-centred care - Support safeguarding and risk management - Assist with preparing the service for registration and inspection - Monitor quality and identify opportunities for improvement - Help shape the culture, standards and development of Niamz Companions
About You
We are looking for someone who: - Has experience in a senior management or Registered Manager position within health and social care - Has a good understanding of Care Inspectorate requirements - Understands the requirements of providing care at home - Has strong leadership and organisational skills - Is confident working independently - Has a commitment to high-quality, person-centred care - Can initially commit to a few hours per week - Is excited about helping establish and shape a new service
