Overview
We are a busy, hands on laundry looking for a full-time laundry operative who can assist with delivery driving. Although driving is not the core part of the role, the successful applicant will need to hold a full UK driving licence and be over the age of 25 years to ensure insurance compliance. Due to business needs, this is a physically active role.
Responsibilities
- Operate laundry equipment efficiently and safely
- Sort and prepare laundry for delivery or pickup with attention to detail and quality standards
- Load and unload laundry items securely in the vehicle, maintaining organization throughout the day
- Collect and delivery laundry items from designated locations, ensuring proper handling and care for our commercial clients
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area and delivery vehicle to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
Qualifications
- Valid full UK driving license is required
- Previous experience in a laundry environment would be beneficial, however full training will be provided.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members
- Ability to lift heavy laundry loads safely and work on your feet for extended periods
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to punctuality and reliability
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
