Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, position, and securely fix CCTV cameras, brackets, power supplies and associated equipment to walls and ceilings.
- Pull and route network cabling, including stripping, terminating, and testing connections.
- Install and set up hardware, including the configuration of associated software and systems.
- Complete accurate documentation, including job sheets, asset registers and equipment records.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company health and safety procedures and relevant site requirements.
Experience and Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ driving experience with a clean record, and no driving offences.
- Flexibility to work weekends on a 1-in-3 rota, occasional unsociable hours and overtime when required.
- Previous experience with cabling and electrical installations.
- Comfortable and competent working at heights.
- Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organisation while working.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools is essential.
- A clear DBS check.
