Yellow Ladder Coffee is a growing independent coffee company built around excellent coffee, quality products and genuinely friendly service.
We are looking for an experienced Coffee Shop Supervisor/Senior Barista who can confidently lead a shift, develop the team and help us continuously improve our drinks, service and daily store operations.
This is a hands-on position. You will work alongside the team on the coffee bar while taking responsibility for the smooth running of your shift.
Working hours and availability
Our stores operate seven days a week.
Opening shifts begin at 5:30am, while closing shifts finish between 9:00pm and 10:00pm, depending on the store location.
Employees work a scheduled opening or closing shift—they do not work from 5:30am until 10:00pm.
Shifts rotate weekly, so applicants must be available to work both opening and closing shifts, including weekends. Rotas are normally provided two to three weeks in advance.
You must also be able to work across our London locations when required. This position requires genuine flexibility and is not suitable for candidates who are only available on fixed days or during fixed hours.

- Lead by example by preparing consistently high-quality drinks and delivering warm, professional customer service.
- Place essential daily orders, including bakery products and milk.
- Monitor ordering levels to prevent shortages, over-ordering and unnecessary waste.
- Complete accurate stock counts and maintain clear stock records.
- Report shortages, delivery issues or unusual stock movements.
- Monitor product quality, freshness, presentation and availability throughout the day.
- Work closely with the management team to improve drinks, service standards, store efficiency and the overall customer experience.
