Role Description This is a 20hr p/w part-time offering a competitive £26,000 Salary (Pro Rata)Videographer and Editor role based in Leicester with a hybrid working arrangement, combining on-site shoots and meetings with some work-from-home flexibility. In this role, you will plan and capture video content, including client promos, social media clips, interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage. You will manage the full production process: setting up equipment, framing shots, recording sound, and ensuring high-quality footage. On the editing side, you will assemble raw footage, cut and sequence clips, add music, graphics, and basic motion elements, and prepare content optimized for various platforms. You will collaborate with account managers and creative leads to interpret briefs, refine concepts, and deliver videos that align with client goals and brand guidelines while consistently meeting deadlines.
Qualifications
- Strong videography skills, including camera operation, shot composition, lighting, and basic audio recording.
- Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro or Cap Cut)
- Ability to adapt content for different platforms (e.g., social media, web, presentations), including aspect ratios and export settings.
- Solid understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and narrative flow to create engaging short-form and mid-length videos.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain clear file management practices.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interpret creative briefs and incorporate feedback constructively.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment, attending on-site shoots and meetings in Leicester while working independently from home when needed.
Familiarity with color correction and basic motion graphics (Highly Desirable)
- Previous experience in an agency, production company, or similar creative environment is beneficial
