Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and forward-thinking Enterprise Business Systems & Digital Transformation Executive to lead our organization’s digital evolution. Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive digital transformation strategies aligned with organizational goals, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and industry best practices.
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise system architectures, including cloud-based solutions such as AWS and Azure, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Oversee the integration of diverse systems using APIs, web services (SOAP, REST), and microservices architectures to enable seamless data flow and operational agility.
- Manage system administration tasks across various operating systems including Windows, Linux, UNIX, and VMware environments to ensure optimal system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robust system design solutions utilizing SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server) and NoSQL options for high availability and data integrity.
- Implement security protocols such as firewalls, VPNs, DNS/DHCP management, and information security measures to safeguard organizational data assets.
- Drive DevOps practices by utilizing tools like Jenkins, Git, Docker/Kubernetes for continuous integration/deployment pipelines supporting agile development cycles.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts through debugging and system analysis using languages like Python, C#, JavaScript, Java, C++, Ruby on Rails, VBA, Shell Scripting, and others to resolve complex technical issues swiftly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in enterprise systems engineering with a strong understanding of system architecture and solution design principles.
- Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure including computer networking fundamentals such as load balancing, firewalls, VPNs, DNS/DHCP services.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure along with virtualization technologies such as VMware ESXi and Hyper-V.
- Proficiency in programming languages including Python, JavaScript, C#, Java, Ruby on Rails, Shell Scripting; familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins and Git is essential.
- Deep understanding of operating systems including Windows Server environments and Linux distributions; experience with UNIX is highly desirable.
- Strong background in database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle Database, Microsoft SQL Server; knowledge of NoSQL databases is a plus.
- Familiarity with service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices frameworks, RESTful APIs, SOAP web services for scalable application development.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles including information security best practices to protect organizational assets from threats.
- Ability to lead complex projects through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget constraints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on debugging complex systems issues efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Pay: £75,000.00-£100,000.00 per year
